Ecological restoration is fast becoming a critical component of nature conservation, ecosystem management, and sustainable local economic development. In response to the need for reliable information and provocative discussion on restoration, the Society for Ecological Restoration International (SER) and Island Press have initiated a book series, “The Science and Practice of Ecological Restoration.”

We’ve created this free SER Restoration Reader so that you can sample the breadth and depth of the series, and read excerpts from the complete list of books to determine which will meet your needs. We invite you to download the free Reader and share it widely with your colleagues and friends.

Working together as part of the growing worldwide restoration community, we can make a difference.
